The Italian Devil Returns to Woodend... next weekend!

The countdown is on, with The Italian Devil set to perform in Woodend next Saturday 23 November! 

And that’s not all, the Woodend Winter Arts Festival is ending the year on a high with a special Christmas carols performance by outstanding chamber choir Ensemble Gombert.

The Italian Devil Returns - Davide Monti with Academia Arcadia

Prepare to be captivated by the Italian Devil himself, as world-renowned Italian violinist, Davide Monti, returns for one extraordinary afternoon. 

Monti, a master of baroque violin, will be joined by the exceptional Josephine Vains on baroque cello and Jacqueline Ogeil on Cristofori piano. Immerse yourself in the timeless works of Corelli, Vivaldi, Tartini, and Scarlatti as these masters come alive through their masterful interpretations.

A Cappella Christmas Carols in Woodend

Join us for a family friendly afternoon of Christmas Carols, as outstanding chamber choir Ensemble Gombert, directed by John O’Donnell, bring the Christmas cheer to Woodend.

Hear the pristine voices and tuning of this famed Choir perform popular Christmas carols of many times and places, from the Medieval era to the present day, with much-loved melodies from Europe, the Americas and Australia. Expect old-time favourites along with lots of family favourites too.
