Christmas Carols at Woodend

Christmas Carols with Ensemble Gombert

It’s only a week or so until Ensemble Gombert treats Woodend to a family-friendly afternoon of Christmas carols.

Come and experience the melodies of Christmas from Europe, the Americas and Australia, all in the glorious acoustic of St Ambrose Church. This year’s program includes beloved family favourites alongside beautiful discoveries, and brand-new arrangements by Melbourne-born composer Simon Biazeck. Don’t miss what is sure to be an enjoyable and uplifting performance by Australia’s premier a cappella choral ensemble.

Feeling peckish? The parish ladies will be running a cosy café in the school staff room from 1–5 pm. Drop in before or after the performance for freshly made coffee, festive goodies, plenty of Christmas cheer, and even a glass of mulled wine.
