Tickets are selling fast for our a cappella Christmas carols concert this coming Saturday, featuring outstanding chamber choir Ensemble Gombert.

Come and experience some beloved family favourites, alongside beautiful discoveries, as well as brand-new arrangements by Melbourne-born composer Simon Biazeck, all in the glorious acoustics of St Ambrose Church.

The Festival Café is back! The afternoon café from the 2025 Woodend Winter Arts Festival will make its Christmas comeback in the school staff room from 1–5 pm. Drop in before or after the performance for freshly made coffee, festive goodies, plenty of Christmas cheer, and even a glass of mulled wine.

HANDEL’S MESSIAH THIS SUNDAY

Handel's perennially popular oratorio will be directed by John O'Donnell, with Australia's foremost baroque violinist, Lucinda Moon, leading Accademia Arcadia, an orchestra of some of Melbourne's most distinguished early-music instrumentalists. Soloists will be drawn from the Melbourne Octet, members of which sing for the Victorian Opera, Opera Australia, the Consort of Melbourne, Ensemble Gombert, The Song Company and other well-known ensembles.
